Visiting random places Sunday after Sunday and scrounging around on random church websites to see what’s going on can be an incredibly difficult task. You may be searching for a church because you just moved to the area, maybe you just left another church, or it may be your first time going to church at all. We understand that all of these reasons have their own difficulties that are paired with them. Visiting churches is intimidating, some may even say scary. Do not stop searching for a group of believers to call home! We don’t only want to pray that you “find” a local church body, we pray you “grow” as God leads to a group of people who are imperfect but they serve a perfect savior. We pray you grow as God leads to a group of people who deeply love the Bible and respect it’s inerrancy and authority. We pray you grow as God leads to a group of people who embody Christ-like love and maintain healthy fellowship with one another. We are specifically praying that you get plugged-in to a church like that. It may be right here at Hopewell Baptist Church, or it may somewhere else. Either way, do not be discouraged if you are looking for a church home. In simple terms, commit you and your family to a place that is already committed to Christ.
